Hello, Beautiful Mom

What if your body is not broken?

While biochemical anxiety and depression are real, I have noticed an emotional, spiritual and psychological pattern in postpartum women:

A woman's body often goes into "Spring Cleaning Mode" as she enters motherhood, whether for the first time or fourth time.

After baby, a woman's body may start to release or 'clean out' generational trauma, childhood trauma and stored emotion. This can often look like (or actually be) anxiety and depression on the surface.

While I encourage all women to seek medical support, I also believe your body is working for you, and with you. Not against you or without you.

Our job is to learn how to listen to our body: what help or support does She need?

What is coming up and out?

I help women learn how to be fully present in their body, and to listen and understand its emotional and spiritual needs postpartum, or any time in motherhood.

I am not a therapist. I help women remove their mental blocks, and the fear and nervousness about their postpartum adjustment, so that they can go through this experience with ease, grace, confidence and support.

I have intuitive gifts and abilities that can help women connect to their body, spirit and intuition during this intense, vulnerable time, so they can tap in to what their body, mind, heart and spirit could be needing postpartum.

You are not a problem to be solved.

You are just as worthy when you feel like a hot mess, as you are when you are killin' it at work.

You just need to learn how to listen to, accept and connect with that body again.

If this resonates, I recommend my free Mini Course for mammas, "Get Out of the Postpartum Rut"

Your body is on your side, mamma.

We pride ourselves on being strong and independent women.

But we gave birth and are recovering in a health care system that GROSSLY overlooks moms, with just one appointment to check on us after baby, and a lack of understanding of our spiritual and emotional needs in motherhood.

The strategy here is: come together in community, and get yourself educated on what your body and mind need. Learn how the emotional and spiritual are also at play in our postpartum body.

Mamma Member Story: Elizabeth

Birth Trauma, Postpartum Anxiety, Depressiveness & Rage

"When I first found Lizzie, I had lingering pain in my pelvis and hips that made it uncomfortable to sit. I was snappy and irritable. I had two kids, birth trauma with my second baby, and had almost died. Intimacy in my marriage had suffered, I was not happy.

What I wanted most was to find me again...What has unfolded in my time with Lizzie has been beautiful, it has been God given and a miracle. Every course video left me stronger, more healed and more determined to keep digging into my birth trauma. I now can share my story with strength in hopes of helping other women with birth trauma. I am braver. I am more confident. The pain in my body released, and I finally love motherhood." - Elizabeth

Mamma Member Story: Meredith
People Pleasing, Boundaries, Caffeine + Sugar Dependence

"By some miracle, I found Lizzie’s podcast. She so accurately described how my patterns of people-pleasing led to dismiss my own desires in favor of others’, to remain silent when my boundaries were violated, and to feel resentful of those who claimed they were there to help me.

This work saved my marriage, my sanity, and I truly believe, my life. I’m so grateful each day to have grown more present and playful in my motherhood and my marriage, to make it through the day without reliance on caffeine and sugar to pull me through, and to sleep more peacefully at night." - Meredith

Mamma Member Story: Kaylyn
Finding Joy, Emotional Regulation

"I can FEEL JOY when my kids are playing together now. I can go to bed at a decent time instead of feeling like I have to escape and binge watch Netflix until 1 in the morning. I can wake up early, before the kids are up. I can get myself showered and even put make up on if I so choose. I can ask for help. None of this was easy before studying with Lizzie.

Sometimes I have to look at the progress I’ve made and ask myself, “who even is this person? She’s so functional!” And guys, it me! It’s really me! The person making dinner is me, the person waking up and taking care of her kids is me. That bad ass mom thinking better, more helpful thoughts, allowing space for her emotions, is me. Check me out! I’m doing it!" - Kaylyn

Let's get specific. There are four main reasons, on a spiritual and emotional level, that you could be feeling irritable, anxious, depressive, numb or just not like yourself postpartum.

While I always recommend medical support when you sense you want or need it, understanding these four spiritual and emotional factors can make things make sense

You could feel relief, confident and hope, like you're ready to heal. Let's get you out of the Postpartum Rut, mamma!
